Takmyn Terms of Use (User Agreement)

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Takmyn platform in accordance with the Civil Code of Turkmenistan (Law No. 162-VII of 28.06.2025), Law No. 72-V "On Information and Its Protection" (03.05.2014), Law No. 159-V "On Legal Regulation of Internet Development and Internet Services in Turkmenistan" (20.12.2014), and Law No. 519-V "On Information about Private Life and Its Protection" (20.03.2017).

By using Takmyn services, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Use apply to the following services of the Takmyn ecosystem:

• The company website takmyn.com;
• The digital map, business directory, and voice navigator Takmyn Karta (https://takmyn.com.tm);
• The single sign-on service Takmyn ID (https://id.takmyn.com/).

Detailed legal documents for the Takmyn Karta app and Takmyn ID are also published at https://takmyn.com.tm/terms, https://takmyn.com.tm/privacy, and the legal hub https://takmyn.com.tm/legal.

Turn-by-turn navigation routes, speed limits, and traffic congestion indicators are advisory only. Drivers and pedestrians must strictly obey the Traffic Rules of Turkmenistan and physical road signs.

In accordance with open-data license terms and Article 6(3) of Law No. 72-V, Takmyn attributes:

• © OpenStreetMap contributors — Open Database License (ODbL 1.0): Base map geometry, road network, streets, and points of interest.
• Overture Maps Foundation — CDLA-Permissive-2.0 (Community Data License Agreement – Permissive 2.0): Building footprints and supplemental spatial attributes.
• Wikidata — CC0 1.0 Universal (Public Domain Dedication): Multilingual place names and canonical identifiers.
• MET Norway (Norwegian Meteorological Institute) — CC BY 4.0: City-level weather forecasts fetched server-to-server without user identifiers.

Takmyn ID verifies your phone number (+993XXXXXXXX) once via SMS at registration and delivers subsequent sign-in codes (OTPs) by e-mail (supporting up to 3 linked addresses, such as @sanly.tm and others, plus an optional password). Users may view all active devices and sessions, close unneeded sessions, and inspect or revoke connected apps at any time in their profile (Article 20 of Law No. 519-V), and may permanently delete their account in the app ("Profile → Delete Account") or on the web at https://id.takmyn.com/account/delete.

"Friends on Map" shares live or approximate (~1 km) location strictly with user-approved friends (with 1-hour or end-of-day timers) and can be paused ("Invisible" mode) or stopped at any time. Location trails expire after 24 hours. Unauthorized surveillance of third parties is strictly prohibited.

Pursuant to Articles 27, 29, and 30 of Law No. 159-V and Articles 6 and 8 of Law No. 72-V, users must not submit:

• defamation or insults (Articles 337–338 of the Administrative Offenses Code of Turkmenistan);
• coordinates, descriptions, or photos of military units, border facilities, or restricted infrastructure (Articles 6(5) and 8(3) of Law No. 72-V);
• third-party personal data (private phone numbers, home addresses, license plates, close-up faces) without consent (Article 342 of the Administrative Offenses Code);
• extremist, unlawful, or harmful material.

Pursuant to Article 6(2) of Law No. 519-V, any individual or entrepreneur listed in the public directory may request immediate removal or correction of their personal details via sj@sanly.tm or "Report an error", executed within 1 business day.

7.1. Business Claims & Advertising Compliance (Law No. 374-V)

Business representatives submitting an ownership claim ("I'm the owner" / Business Claim) or publishing promotions confirm their authority and possession of a valid state registration certificate and applicable licenses under Article 5(6) of Law No. 374-V "On Advertising".

7.2. Free Consumer Services (B2C)

Core Takmyn features (map, directory, voice navigator, public transit, offline maps, "Friends on Map", and Takmyn ID) are provided to individuals free of charge. Taxi fare estimates shown on the map are informational only; rides are fulfilled and billed directly by the chosen taxi service.

7.3. B2B Promotional & Priority Placement Cancellation (Law No. 140-V)

Pursuant to Article 21 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On Consumer Rights Protection" (No. 140-V) and the Civil Code of Turkmenistan (No. 162-VII), business clients may cancel paid promotional placements at any time. Cancellations prior to launch receive a 100% refund; early terminations during an active campaign receive a pro-rata refund for unused days within 5 business days.
